When we started this crazy DIY/YouTube journey, we had no idea what to expect. All we knew is that we loved making crazy things together and wanted to share that love with the world.

As creators, we pour our hearts, time and money into developing what we hope are fun and informative DIY videos. The biggest reward has always been the love you all send back to us via your likes, comments, shares, subscribes and more.

But if you want to send a little more support our way, we now have a way to accept contributions (it’s kind of like having patrons on a small scale).

How to Contribute:

Buy Me a Coffee makes it super easy to contribute to our virtual tip jar. There’s no sign up required, and you can tip as little as $5.00 (or any multiple of that you like).

All contributions will go toward shoring up our tool fund, which will help us up our creative DIY game even more!

What’s on Our Wishlist:

We happen to be eyeing some awesome new additions the shop at the moment…

SawStop Table Saw

Daniel keeps talking about how we need a table saw, but I’ve always been hesitant to get one, as I like my fingers. However, we found an amazing table saw by SawStop that can detect if flesh gets near the blade and stops it immediately.

It’s pretty much the only table saw I’d be comfortable having in my garage, but it comes with a hefty price tag (just over $2500 with taxes, shipping, etc.). Oof!

CNC Machine

On the more fun/creative side, I’ve been positively salivating over CNC machines for a while. If you’re not familiar with CNCs, they’re basically automated router robots that can carve and cut pretty much anything you can dream.

I have SO many ideas in my head of projects we can do with a CNC, but to get one that’s reliable enough (and sizable enough to have a wide range of uses) is also around the $2500 price tag. Double oof.

One BIG Note

We recognize that in these unprecedented times, there are so many people who are in genuine need of essentials, important social movements that need monetary support, and tons of other organizations that do critical work in local communities.

We’d much rather you support an actual nonprofit organization you’re passionate about first, so please don’t donate to our nice-to-have-tool-fund if it will take away from other (and much more worthy) causes.

Here are a few of our favorite nonprofit organizations:

National Center for Civil and Human Rights
American Red Cross
Ocean Conservancy
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Thank You!

Given the above, if you get some value out of our posts and videos (whether that’s a good entertainment break from all the craziness in the world, inspiration for a cool new build of your own, or if you learn something new) and have some change to spare, we would appreciate the support!

Many thanks,

JZ & Daniel
