Today’s #ToolTuesday pick, courtesy of Daniel, is rather unexpected: the humble household iron.

Yep, the one you’re supposed to use to get the wrinkles out of your clothes (unless you’re JZ and only buy items that don’t need to be ironed – ha!). 

But this household staple found its way into the workshop this past week for our first ever attempt at applying wood veneer in the most epic upcycle we’ve ever attempted: transforming an old 70s record cabinet. 

Daniel is a firm believer in defining a tool as anything that helps you get a job done, and we definitely couldn’t have done this project without it.

We’re still working on getting the full post up for the table, but in working to meet a contest deadline, the video is already live!
