Make Gorgeous DIY Plant Markers on a Laser

If you’re anything like us, your rose garden might just be becoming your pride and joy—until you start playing the game of “um…which one are you again?” Are you “White O’Hara”’ or “Francis Meilland”? And where did we put “Vuvuzela”? 😅

Time to eliminate the mystery with a set of DIY laser-cut plant markers that are as pretty as your plants. With just a few simple materials and a laser, you can create custom labels for each variety—so your garden looks and feels organized.

This project is quick and easy, so let’s get crafting and give your plants the name tags they deserve!

We Carved Pumpkins with a Pressure Washer: Chaos Ensued!

Now that we’re a week past Thanksgiving and ~three weeks until Christmas, we figured it was time to post our pumpkin carving video here on the blog…ha! To our credit, this did actually post on our YouTube channel on Halloween. We just missed getting it posted over here. We blamed too much holiday fun. 😉

In any case, we had a TON of fun making this video. We haven’t laughed this much working on a project in a loooooong time (and that’s saying something!). But truly – what else could the result be when you try to carve pumpkins with a pressure washer?!?

We hope you have as much fun watching this one as we had making it. Happy Fall and all the things you celebrate this season!

Cheers,

JZ and Daniel

Tablescaping with Vintage Milk Glass

Hey there, friends! It’s hard to believe Fall is already here – this year has flown by! While we spend as much outside as possible in the Summer, cooler temps mean more time with friends and family around the table…making it the perfect time to indulge in the art of tablescaping!

Annnnnnnnd since I recently discovered the absolutely magical world of milk glass, I’d love to share why this vintage staple is a fantastic choice for designing tablescapes, especially as we embrace the cozy vibes of fall. While many often think of milk glass as classic white, it actually comes in an array of colors, from soft pastels to rich jewel tones and even black, making it a versatile addition to any seasonal setting.

I have now dressed up several tables end to end with milk glass filled with flowers–and it doesn’t matter which combo I used–the milk glass truly shined in every setting, effortlessly elevating the décor.

Check out the blog to see a few of my favorites, along with (affiliate) links of where you can find these amazing vintage pieces on Etsy!

Easy Gold Leaf Candle Holders from Thrifted Glass | DIY Wedding Decor

Hey, hey friends! We’re excited to bring you today’s project, as this is one wedding DIY that checks ALL the boxes. It’s easy, affordable AND quick.

Introducing one of our favorite projects from our wedding DIY extravaganza: gold leaf candle holders made from thrifted glass.

That’s right, we scoured Goodwill (and grabbed a few globes from the Dollar Tree) and made these STUNNING candle holders that added just the right amount of gold to our tablescapes at our wedding.

And the process couldn’t have been easier. Watch the video tutorial below to see how we did a ton of these candle holders in just about an hour. As a bonus, these are so stunning and versatile that we’re still using these today in various places around the house.🙂
