We’ve been diving into our Glowforge every free minute we have, testing all kinds of proofgrade and non-proofgrade materials. In this tutorial, we use a rare but phenomenally useful material: Eucatile Thrifty White Tile Board from Home Depot. Eucatile is essentially a hard board with a glossy white surface. We first discovered this when we were looking for materials that we could cut on the Glowforge and then use for sublimation. Needless to say, this didn’t work out for sublimation, but we quickly discovered that it has amazing opportunities to be used for all kinds of laser cut signs. And since it already has a glossy white surface, there’s no painting necessary.
