When we first started making round wood signs, we knew that paint would be the absolute cheapest way to get a design on there. However, we struggled endlessly with paint bleeding under painter’s tape and stencils.

That’s why we tested and found the absolute best techniques and materials to stop paint from bleeding under tape and stencils on wood. The first trick is to get a good adhesion and the second is to use Mod Podge before you paint. Of course, there are deeper techniques to get both to work flawlessly, which is why we put together this video for you:
