A very special little lady we know just turned THREE years old, and we were blessed to be able to help make some of the decorations for the Three-Esta themed birthday party. We knew we wanted to have some adorable cactus cutouts, so we did what we usually do – checked to see how much we could buy them for first to know if the DIY made financial sense. Welp–it did and then some.
The cardboard cactus cutouts we found on Etsy and Wayfair (which were just printed and backed) ranged from $50-$75 each for the size cacti we were looking for. OOF! That was a big nope. So we grabbed some cardboard boxes we’ve been hoarding and went to work, making these amazing cacti for less than $5 each. That’s a buy vs. DIY equation that can’t be beat.
