When we first heard that the StarCraft SOLO–the newest vinyl cutting machine on the market–could do a ridiculously large print then cut, we KNEW we had to put that to the test. So we conjured up an excuse to put together a couple of graphics and do a nearly 4 ft tall print-then-cut holiday leaning porch sign. That’s a mouthful, and honestly, getting this project done was quite the handful….but not because of the SOLO!

It turns out that our regular ole inkjet printer gave us the most fits in this (and ate up most of our vinyl). But once we figured that part out, it was smooooooooth sailing on the SOLO cutting portion of the project.
