Now that we’re a week past Thanksgiving and ~three weeks until Christmas, we figured it was time to post our pumpkin carving video here on the blog…ha! To our credit, this did actually post on our YouTube channel on Halloween. We just missed getting it posted over here. We blamed too much holiday fun. 😉
In any case, we had a TON of fun making this video. We haven’t laughed this much working on a project in a loooooong time (and that’s saying something!). But truly – what else could the result be when you try to carve pumpkins with a pressure washer?!?
We hope you have as much fun watching this one as we had making it. Happy Fall and all the things you celebrate this season!
Cheers,
JZ and Daniel
Fall is here, and you know what that means—it’s pumpkin season! But this year, we decided to take pumpkin carving to a whole new level. Forget the classic carving tools; we grabbed a pressure washer and set out to create some high-speed pumpkin masterpieces. Spoiler alert: it was messy, chaotic, and oh-so-much fun! 🎃💦
The Pumpkin Pressure Washer Experiment
For this project, we wanted to see if a pressure washer could be the ultimate time-saver for carving pumpkins. The idea seemed brilliant in theory: high-powered water jets cutting through pumpkin flesh like butter. But as you can imagine, things didn’t exactly go as planned. From boots filling with water to unexpected splatters that left us soaked, chaos–and hilarity–truly ensued.
While some pumpkins ended up looking a bit like abstract art, others were surprisingly impressive. The process was filled with lots of trial and error, plenty of laughter, and a whole lot of pumpkin mush. Whether or not it’s the most efficient way to carve pumpkins, we’ll leave that up to you to decide.
Watch the Fun and Vote for Your Favorite!
Be sure to check out the following video to see how it all went down. At the end, we’ll showcase our unique pumpkin creations—some might call them masterpieces, while others might call them disasters. Either way, we want YOU to be the judge! Vote for your favorite pumpkin in the comments on our video, and let us know if you’d ever attempt this wild carving technique. Happy Fall, and happy pumpkin carving! 🍂✨
