We are absolutely obsessed with the Cricut Mug Press, especially since we know that it can sublimate more than mugs. For those who are new to sublimation, it’s essentially a process of using special ink that turns into gas when heated, so you can create permanent designs on a wide variety of substrates.

Ever since we got the Cricut Mug Press, we’ve been searching out different blanks and giving them a try. Some have worked well, and some have been total fails. Either way, we’re learning and having fun. However, we did end up with some unanswered questions around what size (tall and wide) drink ware the Cricut Mug Press could really do.
So, rather than trying to make something really pretty, we wanted to do something practical: test the size limits of the Cricut Mug Press. Sure, Cricut has their “maximum” dimensions listed on the website, but we all know that the machine can be pushed at least a little beyond that.
With that, we decided to try a pretty tall 30 oz tumbler and a short, but wider-than-recommended-by-Cricut 10 oz tumbler.
