Full disclosure: we’ve been obsessively watching Flea Market Flip and wanted to go on our own little adventure to uncover treasures we could turn into something cool. On an adventurous day (long before this virus hit the U.S.), we set out on a road trip to some of the best flea markets around.

Ultimately, we ended up at JZ’s favorite flea, aptly named “My Favorite Place,” where we struck GOLD…or aluminum, as D constantly reminds her.
We found an old porthole—and serendipitously—an appropriately sized copper basin and metal stand. We decided to clean everything up and make our very own Porthole Table with an Ocean Resin inside.
